The Technology Insights Team
The MedShr Insights Team is an R&D team focusing on extracting analyses and insights from medical case reports and discussions both on the MedShr platform and elsewhere.
We use and develop custom medical natural language processing tools and knowledge graphs for this purpose and surface our findings using interactive dashboards.
This allows us to highlight trends in care and treatments in various geographical areas, understand what contexts treatments and symptoms are discussed in, and spot emerging clusters of signs and symptoms which can be early manifestations of new pathogens threatening to fuel a pandemic.
