I'm a creative engineer and tech leader with a history of successfully taking high level business requirements and strategy through to product design and implementation.

I've been crafting software since the 90s and have been deeply engaged throughout the evolution of the web gaining a broad range of expertise. I have a particular interest in backend web development, system architecture and design, accessibility, security and devops.

Most recently I have focused on building technology to enable peer-to-peer learning in the Education and Healthcare sectors.

I subscribe to the servant-leader model of management and prefer flat organisational structure and open lines of communication.

Currently using technologies such as Python, Typescript, Node.js, React, Redis, ElasticSearch, RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL), PHP, BigQuery, Kubernetes, GCP.
